Captain Wayne Jordan of the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office reported the ongoing investigation, with the involvement of the Chesterfield County Coroner, Lancaster County Coroner, and State Law Enforcement Division (SLED).
Sheriff Campbo Streater issued a public warning, urging residents not to handle or consume any substances suspected to contain fentanyl and to immediately contact law enforcement. Streater emphasized the presence of deadly drugs in the area and emphasized the life-threatening risks of consuming such substances.
