Wonique Broughton, 35, is facing charges of murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime. She is currently held at the Berkeley County Detention Center, awaiting a bond hearing.

The incident occurred on January 14, when authorities received reports of a vehicle collision coupled with injuries in the area of Clements Ferry Road and Cainhoy Village Road.
