Bengaluru, Karnataka – Chilling details have emerged regarding the tragic murder of a four-year-old boy, allegedly committed by his mother who is the CEO of an AI firm in Bengaluru. Suchana Seth, 39, is accused of carrying out the heinous crime in a Goa hotel in order to prevent her estranged husband from exercising his visitation rights with their son, sources told India Today.
Seth, the CEO of The Mindful AI Lab, was arrested in Karnataka’s Chitradurga while transporting her son’s body in a bag, following the alleged murder in a hotel in Candolim, north Goa. Authorities found the boy’s body in the hotel room, and Seth is currently in custody facing murder charges.
According to sources, Seth and her husband had filed for divorce and she was reportedly distressed by a court order allowing her estranged husband to meet their son every Sunday. Allegedly, she planned to kill her son just a day before the scheduled meeting.
The motive behind the shocking crime is still being investigated by the authorities. Nidhin Valson, North Goa’s Superintendent of Police, mentioned that Seth had expressed her troubled relationship with her husband and the distress caused by the court order during the preliminary inquiry.
The discovery of red stains in the hotel room, combined with the fact that Seth had arrived with her son but was leaving alone, raised suspicion among the hotel staff. They subsequently alerted the local police, leading to Seth’s arrest. The driver of the taxi she had hired to return to Bengaluru was also contacted.
