The Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office reported that the 41-year-old victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, was subjected to punches and kicks by the assailant, who reportedly hurled derogatory slurs at her. According to the District Attorney, the suspect, identified as 53-year-old Gregory Burnett, also made demeaning comments about the victim’s gender, exacerbating the assault’s severity.
