Los Angeles – A man has been apprehended in connection with a violent sexual assault that took place earlier this month in downtown Los Angeles. Police reported the incident happened on the morning of November 8 outside a residential high-rise located across from the Los Angeles Convention Center. The victim, identified only as “Terra” for her safety, described the harrowing event in detail.
According to Terra, the encounter began shortly after she had walked her dog, when the assailant, who appeared to be homeless, approached her at the entrance of her building. In a chilling account, she recounted, “Before I knew it, he grabbed me and I was unable to escape.” She emphasized the struggle, noting that he seized her by the neck and inappropriately assaulted her while she screamed for help.
Terra characterized the attacker as physically imposing and disturbingly silent, as he made minimal vocalizations during the assault. Even when she managed to escape his grasp momentarily, the suspect persisted, tackling her to the ground in a violent display of force.
