AURORA, Colorado — A 16-year-old suspect was taken into custody on Friday for allegedly committing first-degree murder in connection with a fatal shooting in Aurora that left a 19-year-old dead and another man injured.
The arrest followed the release of video footage and witness testimonies that linked the teenager to the case, as announced in a post by the Aurora Police Department.
Authorities initially responded to reports of a shooting at a rental hall on North Tower Road, where they discovered a large gathering of adults and juveniles. Two men were found with gunshot wounds and were immediately transported to the hospital.
